Important Part Notes
This part is only applicable for vehicles with an immobiliser. The ECU must be updated after installing the new ignition lock. The key casing is usually a half-shell. If the old key has a lamplight, the new part can be swapped over from the old key. If the old key is not equipped with a lamplight, the other half of the casing has to be ordered from the main dealer (OE part no. 0139 131).
